Working method

Packing

Prior to the move, all small items are packed in boxes and clothing in special wardrobe boxes (our moving box service). You can do all or some of the packing yourself if desired in order to save considerably on moving costs. We usually take care of professionally packing valuables and/or breakables. Linen cupboards, beds and large pieces of furniture can also be disassembled by our movers and reassembled in your new home. All furniture and boxes are labelled with stickers and placed in the right rooms at the new location.

Loading

Our movers load your belongings into the moving van on the agreed date. When loading, it is essential that the items be placed and stacked properly in the van to prevent damage during transport. We make sure that all precautionary measures are taken when clearing out the house to ensure a problem-free move. This includes taping up certain corners or floors to avoid damage. If desired, you can ask friends or family to help out in order to speed up the moving process. Since we charge by the hour, this also helps reduce costs.

Transport

The goods are transported to the new location in lorries with pneumatic suspension. The items are insured up to €45,350, with a deductible of €150. We work together closely with City Box, so it is always possible to arrange temporary storage quickly and inexpensively.

Unloading

When unloading, the goods are placed in their proper location in the home as best as possible. We often reassemble any disassembled furniture as well. Specialists are brought in for waterbeds. You unpack the remaining moving boxes (although we can do this for you for an additional fee), after which we pick up the empty boxes at the date and time you request.
